Job Description:
? Graduates with 1+ years experience in any specialty (E.R, Radiology & Anesthesia)coding, capable of reviewing medical records and a strong understanding of medical terminology
? Ability to convert medical language to numeric codes
? An aptitude for abstracting medical records, identifying and assigning appropriate ICD-9 diagnosis codes and CPT codes
? HCC coding and / or auditing experience also preferred
? Should be flexible to work in shifts
? Should be willing to join immediately
? CPC/ higher credentials will be an added advantage
? Knowledge in coding such as HCPCS and ICD-9-CM for reporting
services and products provided by a health care provider to an insurer of
the recipient.
