Optimum Qualification:
Dip. Comp. Sc./ B Sc.
Plus Certified H/Ware course
Plus Network testing/implementation skills
Should be capable of handling network of 50 PCs
Experience: Min. 6 Months. (1 year preferred)
Skill Sets/Software knowledge
Operating Systems:
o Desktop: Windows/ Linux
o Servers: Windows 2000/2003, Linux
Clients: Configuring mail clients/ Instant messengers (MSN, Yahoo, ICQ)/FTP Clients/ Network Cards/ Modems/Routers
Server Software: Exchange Server [other mail servers], MS Proxy Server (other proxies)
Applications: (where applicable for both Mac Platform and PC) MS Office, Common Desktop Publishing and Imaging Software (Indesign, Adobe CS, Quark), Utilities, VNC, PC Anywhere

Installation & Maintenance of all software above, and Antivirus Packages, updating procedure, Emergency data recovery procedures, Backup Devices and Procedures, networking (modem router configurations, firewalls, proxy server), email accounts set-up and maintenance
Trouble Shooting (Hardware) of Motherboard/HDD/Optical drives/peripherals/networking components/cabling (voice and data)/mains supply and components/UPS/Diesel Genset (supervising of outsourced maintenance)
Administrative duties: maintaining records of software purchases, installations, compliance, upgrades, hardware assets, internet usage, archiving of data backup, other storage systems
